Healthcare Made Simple

When people can’t afford expensive care get life-threateningly sick, we can either:
1) Give them care and have somebody else pay for it
2) Let them die.

That’s it. Those are the choices. So, whenever somebody says “as a country, we can’t afford to pay for health insurance for all these poor people,” what they’re saying is *we should let people die.*

Any plan that saves money by reducing the number of people with insurance either includes some sort of hidden tax to pay for the care of these newly uninsured people, or saves money by letting them die. Anybody who wants to repeal the ACA without addressing this is either hopelessly naive or lying.
