Pictures of 2018

The last post I wrote was in August of 2018. That’s a long time to go without writing. It’s not that I didn’t write, it’s that the world got so busy that I didn’t update, and when I wanted to, I couldn’t think of what I wanted to write about. I’ve been baking, but I just didn’t feel like posting about that, though I will say I plan to do an upcoming post on my shortbread. For now, a year in review.

It’s mid-January, and I’ve had time to reflect on the whirlwind that was 2018. It was a year that took courage.

I made the leap and changed specialties from Anesthesia to Internal Medicine because I knew I would be happier. This was so scary, and so right.

We made a baby — her name is Shanta, she is a whole new adventure. I experienced pregnancy, I experienced delivery, all in 2018. This was so scary, and so right.

The whole year took courage, and I am so proud of myself for that.
